Project Description

Rafiki Briquette is smokeless briquettes made from coal dust mixed with other material with the following characteristic:

  1. Easy to ignite,

  2. Odor lessness,

  3. Strong Flame,

  4. No ash,

  5. No poisonous gas to man and animals

Project Outcome

  1. Provision of affordable and environmentally friendly cooking energy to the society.

  2. Support Global efforts on environmental conservation by providing alternative cooking energy which does not involve deforestation.
